A nice clean, not too fussy web site for buying gold from visitors. Visitors can enter gold details and get it valued, to then send it off in exchange for cash. We built the site to be as user friendly as possible and hasn't got too much going on to distract visitors.

Taylors Environmental Services Ltd

Steve at Taylors Environmental wanted a site that stood out and he suggested an orange as a base colour. Well the site does stand out and looks really nice against a grey. We suggested they include a news section to keep visitors up to date with recycling news and new developements within the company. Each section has it's own flash slide show which can be updated easy enough through their admin control panel. Each page also has a contect form on to enable visitors to ask questions or arrange a chat about the page they were on. It automatically lets Taylors Environmental know which page the visitor was on in the emails subject.

Plum Property Services

Alison at Plum properties wanted a system to manage her properties and be able to update all her pages with ease. She came to us when her previous service seemed to be very poor with the site been unavailable or very slow or unavailable to customers. We quickly converted her full site to a new content management system using Word Press which now allows her to store LET OUT properties rather than having to delete one to have to add it again once it's back on the market. (as she did using the old system) She now has full access to edit, update, manage her full site and are finding new improvements all the time with the new system. Please contact us for a demo.

Having already had their website built with a web design company out of town they came to Media Blocks for SEO advice. Realising that when the site was built no detail to search engine optimisation had been added. We are just in the process of tweaking and improving the sites hidden information that search engines do take notice of. Search engine optimisation isn't a job thats done over night and does take time to achive the desired results.

Cash Express Hull

They have grown into Hull’s largest chain of Independent Pawnbrokers and Cash Centres with 3 Branches located throughout Hull and needed a website to offer more information to customers. To continue to provide easy access to Pawnbrokers they felt a website would help by bringing down the barriers of walking into a shop and not knowing what to do, which was stopping a lot of people trading. The site offers information on services offered and has room to grow into an online portal to showcase items from the shop!

Sisons of Hull

This is a simple template site by request of the owners of Sisons who didn't have a budget for a full on designed website. We choose a design and layout which matched their needs best and we think this has really worked well. The site rates really well in Google for many Alternator related phrases like "Alternator Fitters" as one example.

WoodWorks Limited

A local fitting company that can build, fit, make and design anything from wood and many other materials. They wanted to showcase work by using photo's taken after jobs and to post News about work completed. www.woodworkslimited.co.uk is built in Word Press which enables full control and editing by the client and "Is such an ease to use" !

East Riding of Yorkshire LINk

Nice to launch another new Link website at the beginning of January 09. Again like the Hull LINk site below the use of the site is to keep the people of East Riding Of Yorkshire informed of their work, to publicise important information and events. People can then give views on many health and social care issues to an organisation that isn't Government or Council ran. The site also provides information about their policies and procedures, as well as minutes and reports.

Cooper Hydro-dynamics online store

CURRENTLY OFF LINE - We have just launched Andy Coopers new e-commerce website to enable him to offer his services 24/7 online. The site lets you browse, order, pay for and get delivered products that they sell in their shop. We have even incorporated into his shop a hose builder which lets visitors build a hose assembly from scratch. Once ordered, it/they can then assembled, built in house and dispatched to you.

The site was built with the very powerful off the shelf install of Magento which is an open source program and expands, improves all of the time because of this.

Judi and Yvette contacted Media Blocks wanting a fresh new look with a good admin control panel that works well for there business needs. The website is fully controllable by Judi and her staff with many unique features.

Pages all through the website are very dynamic and this improves search engine rankings. The revamp of the site has improved searched results from customers using search engines such as Google.Usually they would just been found from the phrase or simular "CJ Property Services" but are now found by more detailed searches outlining locations etc.

HULL VoIP

This is a new division of Media Blocks Ltd to help local and national businesses take advantage of a VoIP service. The website can be used to sign up for the VoIP service on a 1 month FREE trial (calling credit of £10 needed). We hope to build the site up to be informative friendly towards Hull's businesses. We don't have call centres and are always to hand to help 9am - 9pm 7 days a week.

This is Whitby

This is an in house project to promote businesses in Whitby and help locals and tourists find what they need to know about Whitby. The weather, Photo's, video's, 3D Tours, News, Whats On, Events and a few other useful sections. This can be reproduced in a new style for clients on request and be shown a demo of how the admin portal works.

Based in Brantingham near Brough Richard wanted to show what kind of timber buildings he can supply and to point out that the materials he uses are of a high standard or grade.

Galleries of sheds and products he produces with give customers the perfect view of what he can supply.

Studio No1 based in Anlaby will be having a bespoke website built to show case work and offer a secure viewing portal for photo shoot work for clients to view.

SAS Lining Services Ltd

A Fully bespoke website that showcases what SAS Lining is capable of as a small to medium business. The customer was advised to have a news section and the front page to display the latest additions. This can be updated in an administration section by the client which will help the sites SEO and encourage search engines to index it more. With Steve taking a lot of pictures of the work the company has done it was only right to include an interactive gallery.

Indian Restaurant

In final stages of completion, a simple but effective website for a local Indian Restaurant which is under current development. The owner of Asham Indian restaurant wanted a new fresh website to show off the refurbishment work that had recently been done to the premises. One feature they requested was to have 2x 360 Panoramic Virtual Tours.
